After a long wet ride north I ended up in Snohomish at the home of Roy Harvey and Dee Crist who maintains the website for the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club.  Roy and Dee were gracious enough to put me up for the night while I waited on a new tag for my motorcycle to be FedExed from New Mexico.  The old tag will expire before I get home so I had the new one sent to Roy's.  On Sunday we went to the Fifteenth Annual Ilse of Vashon T.T. Rally.  This is held by the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiasts of Seattle, Washington.  We left in the rain but it had cleared up by the time we got to the Southworth/Fauntleroy Ferry.  The ride over was only a little over 20 minutes but I was already drooling over some of the classic bikes on board.

The Ferry Ride

Rally

The rally draws a pretty big crowd and almost every marquis is represented.  There are motorcycle games and bike judging as well as some pretty good eats.  It was hard to choose only a few out of the hundreds of bikes but the ones below are some of my favorites.

Henderson                            Moto Guzzi                                  Matchless

Harley Davidson                        Triumph                                       BMW

BMW Sidecar Rig

We went back home Sunday afternoon in a pretty good rain.  I was glad it was dry at the rally.  Roy is a memberof a local internet group called the Wet Leather Group because of all the rain in the Pacific northwest.  Today was no exception. I was really thankful I had my Aerostich suit to keep me dry.
